Care that feels like family,
because your family
can't be everywhere.
Tend pairs aging parents with trusted personal care assistants for bathing, dressing, mobility, and the kind of unhurried company that makes a day feel whole.
The everyday care that takes
more than good intentions.
Personal care is specific. We name the tasks plainly so you know exactly what your parent receives — and what a difference each one makes.
Bathing & Grooming
Gentle assistance with bathing, hair care, oral hygiene, and dressing — done on your loved one's schedule, not ours.
Mobility Support
Safe transfers, walking assistance, and fall prevention — so moving through home feels confident again.
Medication Reminders
Timely prompts for prescriptions and supplements, with careful logging so nothing is missed or doubled.
Companionship
Unhurried conversation, shared meals, light activities — the kind of presence that makes a home feel lived in.
Light Housekeeping
Tidying the spaces they use most — kitchen, bathroom, bedroom — so the home stays comfortable and safe.
Errand Accompaniment
Doctor appointments, pharmacy pickups, a short walk to the corner store — familiar routines, safely kept.
Real caregivers.
Real philosophy.
Every Tend caregiver is background-checked, certified, and chosen as much for character as credentials. These are the people who will be in your parent's home.

No commitment. Just a conversation.
Nothing unknown.
Nothing rushed.
Here is exactly what happens from first contact to first visit.
A quiet phone call
We start with a 20-minute conversation — no forms, no pressure.
You tell us about your parent: their routines, what they love, what feels hard right now. We listen more than we talk. This call is free.
A care plan, made together
We draft a simple plan that fits your parent's actual day.
Morning or evening? Three days a week or five? Which tasks matter most? The plan is yours to adjust anytime. Nothing is locked in.
The right match
We introduce you to one or two caregivers we think will click.
You meet them before anyone enters the home. If it doesn't feel right, we find someone else. No awkward conversations required — that's our job.
Care begins, gently
The first visit is unhurried. We call you after.
Your parent sets the pace. The caregiver arrives with your care plan and a willingness to earn trust slowly. You'll hear from us within 24 hours.
"The first night after Margaret started coming, I went to bed at 10:30 and I just… slept. I didn't check my phone at 2am. I didn't lie there running through the list of things that could go wrong. I just slept. I didn't realize how much I'd been carrying until someone else was there to help carry it."

Let's start
with a conversation.
Three questions. That's all. We'll take it from there.
